PODOLOGY

PODOLOGY

Podiatry deals with the diagnosis, treatment and care of the feet. At our Medical Center, we offer a full range of services in medical, specialized and sterile foot care.

We provide special care to patients at risk, with metabolic diseases such as diabetes and ischemic disease. We will also come to the aid of people with mobility limitations who find it difficult to take care of their foot hygiene on their own. We take care of problematic and ingrown toenails, perform nail plate reconstructions, remove corns, calluses, warts and cracked heels. We use orthotic brackets, orthoses, and stress relievers.

Our specialty is also dermatological problems in the feet such as excessive sweating, dry skin, ringworm or ulcers. During the first visit we conduct a thorough interview with the patient, we diagnose not only the feet, but also the entire lower limbs. The podiatrist specialist, after collecting the necessary information, will assess the skin of the feet and nails, make a diagnosis and suggest further stages of therapy.

If a bacteriological, histopathological or mycological examination is necessary to make a diagnosis, we perform it on site. If additional consultation with a doctor is necessary, we will redirect the patient to the appropriate specialist and provide comprehensive care during the process of returning the feet to perfect form.

We invite you to a consultation visit, which can be a source of valuable knowledge, as well as the beginning of quick and effective disposal of the resulting ailments in the feet or nails.
